1. Prepare the shipping documents required to receive the clearance for the purpose of customs clearance.
2. Follow up with the supervisor regarding approved purchase orders, regarding shipping and transit matters.
3. Follow up on papers sent by mail from external suppliers and receive them, and follow up on import license matters.
5. Prepare the documents required for export operations (invoices, packing lists) and following up on their shipment.
6. Determine the time frame for receiving imports.
7. Organize transportation and shipping services for all purchase orders, and ensure that materials arrive according to their schedule and on time.
8. Request quotations for shipping and clearance for shipments transported by air, land and sea, and express mail, as well as proper confirmation and follow-up.
9. Oversee the proper packaging and labeling for all ready for shipments orders/ items accordingly.
10. Liaise with shipping and transporting companies; oversee, and control shipping and delivery of purchased goods, equipment, and supplies, in addition to preparing all needed documents for their customs clearance and insurance (where required).
11. Notify the warehouse department of the imports and the date of their receipt.
12. Provide assistance in purchasing and pricing operations where and when needed.
13. Prepare monthly reports on shipping and transportation operations.
