Job Title: Senior Web Developer

About the Role

The Senior Web Developer is responsible for leading the development, optimization, and maintenance of high-quality websites and web applications. This role requires strong technical expertise, architectural thinking, and the ability to translate business and marketing requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Web Development & Architecture

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance websites and web applications.

• Define and implement scalable architecture, coding standards, and best practices.

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.

2. Front-End Development

• Develop user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or similar).

• Optimize UI/UX for speed, accessibility, and conversion.

• Work closely with designers to implement pixel-perfect designs.

3. Back-End Development

• Develop and maintain server-side logic, databases, and APIs.

• Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, CRMs, and marketing tools.

• Ensure security, scalability, and performance of back-end systems.

4. CMS & E-Commerce Development

• Build and customize CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, headless CMS, or custom systems).

• Develop and maintain e-commerce websites, including checkout, payment, and inventory integrations.

• Optimize websites for SEO, performance, and scalability.

5. Performance, Security & Optimization

• Optimize websites for speed, Core Web Vitals, and best SEO practices.

• Implement security measures, backups, and disaster recovery plans.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

6. Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with marketing, SEO, design, and content teams to ensure aligned execution.

• Review code, mentor junior developers, and provide technical guidance.

• Support project planning, timelines, and technical estimations.
