Duties and Responsibilities
- Leverage a human-centered design process to deliver an easy-to-use user interface and user experience
- Research customers, competitors, and products
- Develop personas, scenarios, and user stories
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with Technical managers and engineers
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Develop UI mockups, wireframes and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to developer team and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
- Develop and implement usability testing
- Design for accessibility standards
- Create and maintain usability documentation
- Ensure products are tested with customers and validated against business goals
