1.    Contribute in proposing new transport network monitoring tools and upgrade existing tools.
2.    Validate new transport network performance indicators and prepare key performance thresholds for old and new hardware, software release and technology.
3.    Conduct sites’ visits and check physical / microwave linkage between network to site and site to site in order to ensure the compliance with related thresholds and standards.
4.    Monitor and analyze Syriatel transport network quality, compare results against Syriatel network performance thresholds, providers’ parameters & other International standards “ITU (International Telecommunication Union) standards, ETSI (European Telecommunication Standards  Institutes) and ANSI (American National Standards Institute)” to enhance performance accordingly.
5.    Report detected transport network quality problems and observations, recommend solutions and follow up solving them with concerned entities.
6.    Conduct regular check on Syriatel network routers based on set of parameters, send misconfigurations to Telecom Technology team or provider.
7.    Investigate technical problems, recommend best practices solutions, and follow up implementation with concerned entities.
8.    Support Telecom Technology Department in the troubleshooting of transport network general problems.
9.    Conduct root cause analysis for frequently repeated problems in services, recommend solutions and follow up with the concerned entities the implementation of solutions.
10.    Prepare all reports related to Transport Network Quality on a regular basis.
11.    Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
12.    Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and teamwork.
13.    Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.
