General Objective of the Position

To plan, direct, and coordinate all operations related to the supply chain, from securing raw materials and procurement to warehousing and distribution, to ensure the efficient flow of products at the lowest possible cost while maintaining the required quality levels.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to increase efficiency and reduce overall costs.

• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and periodically evaluate their performance to ensure continuity of supply.

• Oversee demand planning processes to ensure product availability and prevent stock shortages.

• Manage warehouse and storage operations, ensuring accurate inventory and adherence to proper storage standards.

• Coordinate logistics and transportation operations to ensure shipments arrive on time and in the most efficient manner.

• Analyze data and value chains to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and reduce operational waste.

• Manage supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to address crises or supply disruptions.

• Collaborate with the sales, production, and finance departments to align supply chain objectives with overall company goals.

• Lead and develop the team in the procurement, warehousing, and logistics departments.
