Summary
The Senior HR Officer is responsible for overseeing the human resources function at More Than Idea Co., including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and development, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. The Senior HR Officer will work closely with department heads to understand and meet the organization's staffing needs and contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Recruitment and Staffing:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job analysis, job postings, resume screening, conducting technical tests, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
- Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to attract qualified candidates.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and staffing to enhance the organization's hiring strategies.
- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future staffing needs.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
2.Employee Relations:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues and concerns
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee relations matters, ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures as well as legal requirements.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures aimed at fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
3.Performance Management:
- Develop and implement a performance management system to track employee performance and development.
- Provide training and support to managers on conducting effective performance evaluations and managing performance improvement processes.
- Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate performance improvement plans as needed.
4.Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate in organizing and scheduling training sessions and workshops for employees' professional development.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
5.Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including the .evelopment and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Prepare and submit reports on HR metrics and compliance to management as required.
6.HR Administration:
- Oversee HR administration tasks, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and record-keeping.
- Ensure secure and organized storage of all documents and records, including personnel files, in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Collaborate with IT and other relevant departments to implement technological solutions for document storage and retrieval, such as document management software or cloud-based storage platforms.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
