Job Summary:
The Senior Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Operator is responsible for operating and supervising the use of ground support equipment required for aircraft handling and airport operations. The role ensures the safe, efficient, and timely operation of GSE while supporting ground handling activities at Damascus International Airport and maintaining compliance with aviation safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate various types of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) such as aircraft tractors, belt loaders, ground power units (GPU), passenger stairs, and other airport support vehicles.

• Ensure safe and efficient aircraft ground handling operations in coordination with ground handling teams.

• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on GSE before and after operations.

• Report equipment faults, damages, or operational issues to the maintenance team promptly.

• Supervise and guide junior GSE operators to ensure safe operational practices.

• Ensure strict compliance with airport safety regulations, operational procedures, and company policies.

• Maintain accurate operational logs and equipment usage records.

• Support ramp operations and assist with aircraft turnaround activities when required.

• Coordinate with airport authorities, ground handling teams, and maintenance personnel.
