Role Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js and TypeScript to help design and implement reliable backend services. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on development experience and a solid understanding of PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain REST APIs using Node.js (Express/Fastify) and TypeScript
- Design scalable database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL
- Integrate and maintain ORM layers such as Sequelize or TypeORM
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery
- Monitor and optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and basic DevOps tasks for deployments and monitoring
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices across the team
- Support DevOps workflows by launching and managing AWS infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, Elastic Beanstalk, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch, while contributing to CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and environment monitoring to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable application delivery.
