The Senior ATC (Air Traffic Control) Equipment Engineer manage, maintain, and optimize ATC systems and infrastructure. - Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of ATC equipment, including radar systems, communication systems, and automation tools.
- Perform regular inspections, testing, and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in ATC systems promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
- Collaborate with technical teams and vendors for complex repairs and system upgrades.
- Analyze performance data to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and functionality.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and recommend upgrades to existing systems.
- Ensure all ATC systems comply with ICAO, FAA, and other relevant international and local aviation standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance, calibration, and system performance for audits and compliance purposes.
- Implement safety measures and protocols to ensure the reliability of ATC systems in all operational conditions.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for potential system failures.
- Plan and execute projects related to the installation or upgrade of ATC equipment.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technical staff on ATC systems and equipment.
