About this role

Inventory & Cost Accounting: Oversee stock valuation, reconcile physical inventory to the ledger, and analyze standard cost variances.
Margin & Profitability Analysis: Track and report on gross margins by product line, brand, customer category, and distribution channel.
Rebate & Promotion Management: Track, calculate, and claim complex vendor rebates, trade discounts, and promotional allowances.
Financial Reporting: Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
Logistics Cost Control: Audit and analyze warehousing, freight, and fleet expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Accounts Receivable & Credit Risk: Monitor credit limits for retail/wholesale customers and manage aging accounts.
Tax & Compliance: Ensure accurate filing for VAT, GST, customs duties, and local corporate tax requirements.
