We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and working closely with developers, product managers, and project managers to deliver high-quality software.
The QA Engineer will play a key role in maintaining product quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by performing manual testing, documenting issues, verifying fixes, and contributing to continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using issue tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before production releases.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, UI/UX Designers, and Technical Project Managers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback to improve product quality and testability.
- Ensure software releases meet quality standards before deployment.
- Validate APIs using tools such as Postman or similar API testing tools.
- Test web applications, mobile applications, and backend services.
- Maintain detailed test documentation, execution reports, and quality metrics.
- Assist in creating and improving QA processes, standards, and best practices.
- Support production issue investigations and reproduce customer-reported defects.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
