Root Information Technology is seeking a talented Desktop Application Developer (C# / .NET) to work remotely on a part-time basis, developing a Point of Sale (POS) system for Windows that integrates with ROOT ERP via API.

The goal is to build an Offline-First POS Application that can store data locally (SQLite) and automatically sync with the main ERP system once the internet connection is restored.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop desktop applications using C# / .NET (WPF or WinForms).

• Implement a local SQLite database for offline storage.

• Build an intelligent Sync Engine that integrates with ROOT ERP API.

• Design a fast and user-friendly POS interface.

• Work with RESTful APIs (GET / POST / PUT / DELETE).

• Handle local printing with POS Printers (ESC/POS).

• Write clear technical documentation for setup and operation.

• Collaborate with the ERP backend team to ensure data consistency.
