Role Objective:
Provides strategic medical leadership for all clinical services, ensuring excellence in patient outcomes, evidence-based practice, and clinical governance. Oversees physician performance, regulatory compliance, and accreditation readiness while fostering a safe, collaborative, and innovative care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and enforcement of clinical policies and evidence-based standards of care.
- Monitor clinical & QPS indicators (mortality, readmission, infection control, incident reports).
- Direct adverse event investigations, clinical audits, and morbidity & mortality reviews.
- Ensure strict adherence to patient safety protocols, infection prevention, and risk mitigation programs.
- Evaluate physician performance and clinical competencies through structured KPIs.
- Promote a culture of accountability, professional ethics, and continuous development .
- Maintain compliance with MOH regulations and hospital licensing requirements to lead readiness for international accreditation .
- Strengthen collaboration between physicians, nursing, and allied health teams to optimize care coordination.
- Support commissioning and expansion of specialized service lines (e.g., cardiology, critical care, OR).
- Facilitate clinical research initiatives and innovation in diagnostic and therapeutic care.
- Participate in strategic planning and hospital budget priorities related to clinical services.
