To provide strategic legal counsel that ensures the Syria Branch’s full compliance with all applicable local laws, international aviation standards, and corporate governance requirements. The Legal Advisor will serve as a trusted partner to the Managing Director and executive team, supporting risk management, contract negotiation, regulatory interpretation, and the legal structuring of business operations and partnerships.
- Provide day-to-day legal advice to the Managing Director and other internal stakeholders regarding business activities, decisions, and their legal implications.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, MOUs, partnership agreements, and regulatory-related documentation.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes relevant to aviation, labor law, commercial law, and international compliance, and assess their implications on UAS operations.
- Support dispute resolution and arbitration cases, coordinating with external legal counsel where necessary.
- Develop internal policies and procedures to ensure full legal and ethical compliance with Syrian law and applicable international business standards.
- Participate in internal audit and investigation processes related to legal disputes or regulatory issues.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive legal database including contracts, legal rulings, and key correspondence.
- Coordinate with legal, tax, or aviation-related bodies where relevant to operations, including local authorities and private-sector stakeholders.
- Contribute to the preparation of legal reports and strategic memos required by senior management or external partners.
- Conduct legal risk assessments on strategic initiatives, commercial ventures, and operational expansions.
