Role Purpose

To design, implement, secure, and optimize enterprise LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructures for both internal operations and client projects. The Senior Network Engineer leads the planning and deployment of indoor/outdoor Wi‑Fi networks, ensures high‑availability connectivity, and provides expert‑level support across routing, switching, wireless, and network security domains.

 

Key Responsibilities

LAN & WAN Infrastructure

• Advanced routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, STP, VLANs, trunking, EtherChannel)
• Layer 2/3 network design and optimization
• MPLS, VPN, SD‑WAN, and inter‑site connectivity
• Network segmentation and traffic engineering

Wireless Networks (Indoor & Outdoor)

• Planning, designing, and deploying enterprise Wi‑Fi networks
• Heatmaps, RF surveys, and coverage planning.
• Outdoor point‑to‑point and point‑to‑multipoint wireless links
• Wi‑Fi 5/6/6E technologies, controllers, and access point management
• Troubleshooting interference, channel planning, and performance issues

Network Security & Monitoring

• Firewall configuration (Fortinet, Cisco, Mikrotik, Palo Alto, etc.)
• ACLs, NAT, IPS/IDS, VPN tunnels, secure network design
• High‑availability setups, redundancy, failover, and load balancing
• SNMP monitoring, NetFlow, syslog, and performance analytics

Project Implementation & Technical Leadership

• Leading network deployment projects end‑to‑end
• Preparing network diagrams, BoQs, and technical documentation
• Providing L3 support for escalated network issues
• Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams for technical support.
• Ensuring project delivery meets timelines, quality, and client expectations
