1.    Participate in the planning of access network hardware and software requirements with their related BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
2.    Implement infrastructure hardware and software upgrades and replacement for new LAN/WAN networks and expansion.
3.    Configure access network equipment from different vendors’ brands when needed.
4.    Implement security policies to protect Syriatel access network against unauthorized access.
5.    Monitor Syriatel access networks data traffic to ensure that all packets are delivered to correct destination.
6.    Coordinate with IT Network Specialist to ensure access network performance stability and availability.
7.    Identify, troubleshoot and solve access network infrastructure problems, in an effort to minimize downtime.
8.    Analyze repetitive problems in order to take the proper corrective and preventive actions.
9.    Provide support to LAN, Wi-Fi and WAN users.
10.    Conduct technical assessment of offers received from Procurement.
11.    Check the delivered devices at warehouse and ensure matching the required specifications.
12.    Enhance access network communications hardware and software as required.
13.    Create, maintain and update configuration files, records, logs and reports.
14.    Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
15.    Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and teamwork.
16.    Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.
