A strategic national investment institution is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Investment to lead the development and execution of its investment strategy and portfolio management activities. The role is responsible for identifying investment opportunities, evaluating transactions, managing investment performance, and providing strategic recommendations thatsupport long-term value creation and sustainable economic growth.

The Head of Investment will oversee investment analysis, due diligence,portfolio management, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring adherence to governance standards, risk management frameworks, and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the formulation of investment plans, priorities, and portfolio allocation strategies.
•  Monitor global, regional, and local market trends to identify emerging opportunities and risks.
• Provide strategic investment recommendations to executive managemenand relevant committees.
•  Lead the screening, assessment, and execution of investment opportunities.
• Oversee financial, commercial, operational, legal, and strategic due diligence processes.
• Review and approve investment models, valuation analyses, and busines cases.
•  Lead negotiations with investors, partners, advisors, and stakeholders.
•  Ensure investment decisions are supported by robust analysis and risk assessment.
•  Monitor and evaluate the performance of investment portfolios and underlying assets.
• Develop portfolio optimization strategies to maximize returns and achieve strategic objectives.
•  Review investment performance reports and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
•  Establish performance metrics and reporting frameworks for portfolio companies and investments.

• Ensure compliance with investment policies, governance requirements, and risk management frameworks.
