Job Summary:
The Ground Handling Apron Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating aircraft ground handling activities on the airport apron to ensure safe, efficient, and timely aircraft turnaround. The role oversees ramp operations, ground handling teams, and coordination with airline representatives and airport authorities while ensuring compliance with aviation safety regulations and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily apron and ramp operations to ensure safe and efficient aircraft handling.

• Coordinate aircraft turnaround activities including marshalling, loading/unloading, refueling coordination, baggage handling, and pushback operations.

• Ensure all ground handling activities comply with airport safety regulations and aviation standards.

• Monitor and guide ramp staff and ground handling teams during aircraft arrival and departure operations.

• Coordinate with airline representatives, air traffic control (ATC), and airport authorities for smooth operational flow.

• Conduct safety briefings and ensure staff adherence to ramp safety procedures.

• Monitor the proper use of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and ensure safe operational practices.

• Prepare operational reports, incident reports, and shift activity logs.

• Handle operational disruptions, delays, and emergency situations in coordination with relevant departments.

• Support training and supervision of ramp agents and GSE operators.
