Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Fleet Maintenance Officer to oversee the maintenance and repair of our fleet vehicles and equipment. The successful candidate will ensure vehicle reliability, minimize downtime, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for fleet vehicles.
• Coordinate vehicle inspections, servicing, and repairs with internal teams and external vendors.
• Monitor vehicle performance and investigate recurring mechanical issues.
• Maintain maintenance records, service histories, and repair documentation.
• Manage spare parts inventory and control maintenance costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, inspections, registrations, and insurance requirements.
• Monitor fleet availability and minimize vehicle downtime.
• Prepare maintenance reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Supervise mechanics and maintenance contractors when required.
• Coordinate with drivers and operations teams to ensure efficient fleet utilization.
