1.    Conduct site survey to set the construction requirements of Syriatel facilities.
2.    Prepare the structural, civil designs of Syriatel facilities based on requirements that are set according to site survey results, received from Enterprise Critical Facilities Section or technical studies prepared by suppliers.
3.    Review technical submittals (documents, drawings,  etc…)  prepared  by  suppliers  or contractors and provide recommendations.
4.    Maintain    records    of    Syriatel    facilities    structural,    civil    documentations (drawings, standards,..) and update them upon any change.
5.    Coordinate with other sections in Civil Engineering Unit to design and prepare for the implementation of construction and renovation of Syriatel facilities.
6.    Set and review the materials specifications and BOQ’s (bill of quantities) of civil works based on design and send them to Facility Engineering HOS.
7.    Prepare and review cost estimation of civil works when requested.
8.    Fill in sites requests with civil work requirements and send them to HOS for review .
9.    Check and follow up civil works implemented by contractors in Syriatel facilities through filed visits to ensure implementation of the approved design and engineering codes.
10.    Carry out site visits regularly and when requested to check the structural situation of the facility in order to avoid any problem.
11.    Inspect civil work materials in warehouse received from supplier and returned from facility when requested.
12.    Prepare the terms and conditions of civil works & Follow up the progress of new facilities construction and existing facilities renovation and maintenance and escalate delays to ensure timely implementation of the related plans.
13.    Check  civil  works  implementation  after  each  phase  of  construction,  and  apply  final acceptance.
14.    Prepare the terms and conditions of civil works to be implemented by contractor and send them to Facility Engineering HOS.
15.    Participate with HOS in the technical assessments of relevant quotations and offers.
16.    Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
17.    Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and teamwork.
18.    Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.
