Core Purpose of The Job:  
Follow up on operational sites.

Task Complexity:

 Follow up all out of service sites with maintenance contractor and perform the needed action to restore them as per the maintenance manager/supervisor plan and directions.

  Follow up all environment alarms related to MTN sites and clear them with help of network maintenance center.

 Follow on the execution of antenna change requests and upgrade plan submitted by Engineering department. 

 Report on sites availability and provide solution to maintenance supervisor to improve availability and assure on execution.

 Update the maintenance data base. 

 Audit and update the faulty items register.  

Support the maintenance contractor to grant access for all the sites in the area responsible for.  

 Control the new site, renovation and upgrade acceptance. 

Issue incident report for any major outage might occur and provide recommendation as contingency. 

Follow up the maintenance contractor on their daily activities like: routine visit, database collecting, site cleaning and fuel filling.

 Conduct frequent site visit and report to maintenance supervisor on all remarks as inconsistency with MTN maintenance standards and toolkit.

 Assure on the performance of MTN sites in terms of availability (base station, MW and other telecom equipment).

 Assure the performance of site power components: batteries, rectifiers, hybrid solutions and generators

 Daily follow up with maintenance managers to check daily/weekly fuel needs by using fuel monitoring system. 

 Report the site access difficulties to site accusation unit and follow up actions to ease access.
 Support in planning and execution of power projects like batteries, Generators and Solar.
