• Prepare well design, drilling programs, and operational procedures.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analysis.
• Select appropriate drilling equipment, tools, and techniques.

2. Operational Execution

• Monitor drilling operations daily to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and provide immediate technical solutions.
• Coordinate with rig crews, service companies, geologists, and field engineers.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and drilling standards.

3. Cost & Performance Management

• Prepare cost estimates and track drilling expenses.
• Optimize drilling performance to reduce non-productive time (NPT).
• Review operational reports and identify improvement opportunities.

4. Technical Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze drilling data, mud parameters, and well integrity performance.
• Prepare detailed daily and final well reports.
• Evaluate offset wells and historical drilling data for optimization.

5. Vendor & Contractor Coordination

• Work closely with third-party service providers (mud, cementing, LWD/MWD, casing, etc.).
• Review and evaluate technical proposals and service quality.

6. Safety & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure all drilling operations meet regulatory requirements and international standards.
• Participate in safety meetings, audits, and incident investigations.
• Promote safety culture across all drilling activities.
