The Electrical Draftsman (ED) shall address all requirement of the Temporary Electrical Installation (TEI) in ensuring quality technical drawings of its electrical wiring system. The basic requirement and steps such as data gathering on site, coordination with all trades/disciplines, and formulating concepts to ensure a good, accurate/precise, and dependable electrical representation which are to be used by electrical workers in delivering of what is required and beneficial in all the project sites.

Designs and draws wiring diagrams, i.e. SLD, layouts, and load schedules;

• Develops wiring diagrams throughout the project cycle;
• Untiring in going to sites to gather information indispensable to providing accurate and precise drawings;
• Prepares electrical drawings with knowledge of shop drawing preparation, regulations, norms, and standards;

Prepares quantity take-offs, as maybe required;

• Sets of the drawings to be able to generate quantity take-offs, as maybe required;

Provides assistance capitalizing his/her knowledge to managers and engineers to solve complex problems and issues;

• To think creatively and critically to support project team in the design process, to create sketches, and drawings that work;
• Seeks clarity and understanding from engineers and project managers when in doubt.
