Role Overview

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our new office in Damascus, Syria. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate has solid experience in automation, cloud platforms, and system monitoring, with the ability to take ownership of DevOps practices and support the engineering team in delivering reliable, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments.
• Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows.
• Ensure security best practices are applied across infrastructure and deployments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Stay updated on emerging DevOps tools, cloud services, and automation practices.
• For senior-level: provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers.
