Background

An international funding mechanism was established to support reconstruction and recovery activities aimed at rebuilding affected communities and alleviating the humanitarian and socio-economic impact of prolonged conflict. The mechanism supports the implementation of projects focused on reconstruction, recovery, and stabilization interventions.

1. Key Responsibilities

The Communication officer will support the Communications Section in producing high-quality visual and digital communication products. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Design and develop communication and visibility materials (brochures, infographics, reports, presentations, newsletters, and social media content) in line with institutional branding guidelines.
• Produce and edit multimedia content, including videos, motion graphics, photography, animations, and audiovisual materials for digital platforms, events, and donor visibility.
• Manage, update, and maintain the website to ensure accurate, timely content publication and strengthen online visibility.
• Manage and organise the photo and multimedia archive by cataloguing, tagging, and maintaining a structured repository of the Fund’s digital assets.
• Be able to draft and edit bilingual communication content (English and Arabic), including news items, press releases, website content, success stories, social media posts, and video scripts, as needed.
