The Cargo Worker is responsible for handling, loading, unloading, and moving cargo efficiently and safely. The role ensures proper storage, documentation support, and adherence to safety and operational procedures within the warehouse or airport cargo area.

Key Responsibilities:

Cargo Handling:

• Load and unload cargo from trucks, containers, and aircraft
• Sort, stack, and organize cargo in designated storage areas
• Ensure proper handling to prevent damage to goods

Warehouse Operations:

• Receive and dispatch shipments as per instructions
• Assist in inventory checks and cargo counting
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area

Documentation Support:

• Verify shipment labels and basic documents (AWB, tags, etc.)
• Report discrepancies, damages, or missing cargo

Safety & Compliance:

• Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment (PPE)
• Handle cargo in line with company guidelines and regulations
• Assist with handling special cargo (fragile, perishable, etc.)
