About the Role
A Business Analyst bridges the gap between stakeholders and the development team, interpreting business requirements into understandable development tasks to match a final software product with the expected business value.
Responsibilities
- Conduct meetings with the Product Owner and stakeholders to understand business objectives and gather detailed requirements.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise User Stories that are well-defined, prioritized, and include acceptance criteria, making them easily understood by the development team.
- Documenting the functional requirements that developers must implement to enable users to achieve their goals, along with outlining the non-functional requirements such as usability, security, reliability, performance, availability, and scalability.
- Create process flow diagrams, use cases, and other relevant documentation to support the development process.
- Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and review meetings to ensure continuous improvement.
- A liaison between the Product Owner, stakeholders, and the development team to ensure understanding of the requirements and provide necessary clarifications.
- Collaborate with both the development team and the quality assurance testing team to ensure the clarity of user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, processes, and User Stories using appropriate tools.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in business analysis and insurance technology.
