Role Overview:

Althaalab Almacker Solutions is seeking a skilled Back-End Python Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of FinTech Studio — a cutting-edge platform designed to modernize banking systems through microservices, secure API integrations, and data-driven infrastructure.

As a Python Developer, you will build scalable, secure, and modular backend services that power digital financial products for our clients in the banking and financial services sectors. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement microservices, integrate core banking systems, and maintain API ecosystems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building high-performance backend systems using Python.

Key Responsibilities:

FinTech-Focused Development

• Design, develop, and deploy Python-based microservices for core financial functionalities including payments, user accounts, and transaction processing.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support secure communication between services, front-end apps, and external financial systems.
• Integrate with legacy core banking systems via custom-built connectors.
• Work on data warehousing pipelines to consolidate and process large volumes of financial data for analytics and reporting.
• Ensure code complies with financial industry regulations, focusing on performance, security, and auditability.

Team Collaboration & Delivery

• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, UI/UX designers, and frontend developers to deliver high-quality, end-to-end solutions.
• Estimate development time, provide regular updates, and maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving and task ownership.

Code Quality & Optimization

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Python code.
• Implement unit tests, perform debugging, and ensure code coverage through test-driven development (TDD).
• Continuously improve service performance through profiling, query optimization, and code refactoring.
