Core Purpose of The Job:  
Provide the day to day operational support to Unix platform, back-up systems, storage systems, and monitoring tools. 

Task Complexity:

*Technically support Unix Servers and all other Linux servers .

*Build and administrate Linux Servers and Sun Servers.

*Implement new system upgrades and patches to existing systems.

*Setup and maintain Unix security.

*Monitor security and performance logs (servers, storage, etc.)

*Provide diagnostic, problem solving and referral services for all related environment.

*Prepare progress reporting and other statistical reports.

*Install new hardware in datacenters

*Document procedures.

*Generate utilization and capacity planning reports and recommend system improvements.

*Evaluate and recommend new server hardware.

*Operate the backup system for all system including backup or restore operations

*Manage monitoring system for all IT systems, including the notification groups

*Analyze recurring problems and make recommendations for improvements to operational procedures.

*Offer technical support for Linux related issues for all other IT divisions when needed.

*Manage IT Storage systems, and support all IT in all related issues
