Role Summary
We are looking for a Technical Writer to create clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for our Healthcare RCM and Claims Management platform.
The role will work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Implementation teams to produce product documentation, user guides, API documentation, release notes, SOPs, training material, and internal technical documentation.
The ideal candidate can understand complex technical and healthcare workflows and translate them into simple, structured, and professional documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Product & User Documentation
- Create and maintain user manuals, feature guides, workflow documentation, FAQs, and help center content.
- Document healthcare workflows such as claim creation, eligibility checks, prior authorization, claim submission, denial management, resubmission, payment posting, and reporting.
- Write clear step-by-step guides for end users, administrators, support teams, and implementation teams.
- Create onboarding and training material for customers and internal teams.
Technical & API Documentation
- Document REST APIs, integration flows, request/response examples, error codes, authentication methods, and troubleshooting steps.
- Work with Swagger/OpenAPI specifications and convert technical details into readable documentation.
- Document integration guides for payer APIs, NAPHIES-related workflows, FHIR/HL7 mappings, and external systems.
- Maintain internal technical documentation such as system overview, environment setup, deployment steps, and configuration guides.
Release & Change Documentation
- Prepare release notes, change logs, known issues, upgrade guides, and rollback instructions.
- Work with Product, QA, and Engineering to capture changes accurately for each release.
- Maintain documentation versioning aligned with product releases.
Process & Knowledge Management
- Create SOPs for support, implementation, QA, deployment, and operational processes.
- Organize documentation repositories using tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, Notion, GitHub Wiki, or similar.
- Ensure documentation follows consistent templates, terminology, and branding.
- Collect feedback from users and internal teams to continuously improve documentation quality.
