Role Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized, data-driven Technical Product Manager to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution. You will act as both the Product Owner (defining what to build via BRDs and Gap Analysis) and the Project Manager (managing how and when it gets delivered).
This is a hands-on role. You are expected to validate deliverables technically (e.g., checking logs/DB records) and not just accept verbal updates.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Ownership & Analysis:
- Draft and maintain comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and User Stories.
- Conduct detailed Gap Analysis comparing our solutions against market competitors
- Own the product backlog, ensuring items are prioritized based on business value and technical feasibility.
2. Project Management & Process Discipline:
- Lead Agile ceremonies with strict discipline: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Define clear Sprint Goals, Start Dates, and End Dates. Ensure no "scope creep" occurs without proper documentation.
- Enforce process adherence; ensure all tasks are tracked on Jira/Project Management tools with updated statuses.
3. Estimation & Capacity Planning (Critical):
- Historical Data Analysis: Review previous similar tasks and developer performance logs to validate current time estimates.
- Estimation Calibration: Challenge developer estimates based on historical data. If a feature took 5 days previously, ensure current estimates reflect that reality.
- Maintain a repository of "Standard Task Durations" to improve future planning accuracy.
4. Technical Validation & Quality Control:
- Verify before accepting: Perform technical validation of completed tasks before marking them as "Done." This includes checking System Logs, Database entries, and API responses to ensure work is genuinely completed.
- Ensure that "delivered" features are functional and meet the acceptance criteria defined in the BRD.
