The Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable services and platforms that power Rasēd’s fraud‑detection, transaction‑monitoring, and risk‑decisioning products in a regulated financial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that power Rasēd’s fraud‑detection, transaction‑monitoring, and risk‑scoring workflows.
- Implement reliable, testable, and scalable code (e.g.Java, .NET) following modern software development practices and code review standards.
- Work closely with data science, product, and compliance teams to translate fraud models, AML/KYC rules, and risk policies into production‑ready services and decision engines.
- Design and maintain data architectures (data pipelines, databases, messaging systems) to support high‑volume financial transactions and fraud analytics.
- Integrate third‑party AML/KYC, sanctions screening, and fraud platforms or internal risk tools into Rasēd’s ecosystem.
- Build monitoring, logging, and alerting for fraud‑related services to ensure high availability, observability, and fast incident response.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions, contributing to continuous improvement of Rasēd’s platform.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, deliver technical solutions, and support deployments in production environments.
- Stay current with new technologies in fraud detection, AI/ML, and software engineering, and propose improvements to Rasēd’s products and engineering practices.
