Job Summary
The Showroom Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the showroom, driving sales performance, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The role involves leading and developing the showroom team, managing inventory and visual merchandising, maintaining operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards. The Showroom Manager plays a key role in achieving business objectives, maximizing profitability, and enhancing brand image.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Performance:
- Drive showroom sales to achieve or exceed monthly and annual targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotional activities.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare sales performance reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key clients.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure a professional, welcoming, and high-quality customer experience.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge to provide accurate customer guidance.
Team Leadership & Management:
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate showroom staff.
- Manage staff schedules, performance evaluations, and development plans.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven work environment.
Visual Merchandising & Showroom Standards:
- Ensure showroom displays and layouts align with brand guidelines.
- Maintain showroom cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal.
- Coordinate product launches, promotions, and in-store marketing activities.
Inventory & Operations:
- Oversee stock management, ordering, receiving, and inventory control processes.
- Minimize stock losses, damages, and inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics teams, and head office to ensure product availability.
Administration & Compliance:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and operational documentation.
