Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team at Genius More Than Idea Co. to achieve sales targets and drive business growth. The Sales Manager will develop and implement sales strategies, manage key accounts, and lead the team in delivering excellent customer service. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for analysing market trends and identifying new business opportunities.

 

Role and Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Planning:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets
• Identify new business opportunities and market trends
• Monitor competitor activity and recommend strategies to stay ahead in the market
  Team Leadership:
• Recruit, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets
• Provide coaching and feedback to the sales team to improve performance
• Conduct regular performance reviews and set goals for the team
  Key Account Manager:
• Manage key accounts and develop strong relationships with customers
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction

 

Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

• Prepare sales forecasts and budgets
• Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for management
• Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

 

Product Knowledge and Training:

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services
• Provide training to the sales team on product features, benefits, and sales techniques
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop sales collateral and promotional materials.
