Position Objective:
The Reporting & Scheduling Specialist will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and controlling project schedules across OSP, ISP, Data Center, and Exchange domains while ensuring accurate and timely reporting of project progress, KPIs, and implementation status. The role supports project governance through schedule management, reporting automation, dashboard development, data integrity control, and performance monitoring to ensure alignment with project objectives, contractual commitments, and management expectations.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules covering OSP, ISP, Data Center, and Exchange implementation activities.
- Track project progress against approved baseline schedules and identify schedule variances, delays, and risks.
- Prepare schedule forecasts, delay analyses, recovery plans, and mitigation recommendations.
- Consolidate project progress data from multiple regions, contractors, vendors, and internal teams into unified reporting structures.
- Prepare weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc project progress reports for management and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, advanced Excel trackers, and visual reporting tools to improve project visibility and decision-making.
- Monitor and report key project KPIs, including implementation progress, productivity, testing and acceptance status, milestone achievement, and schedule compliance.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of project data across ERP systems, client portals, reporting platforms, and internal databases.
- Coordinate with engineering, design, permitting, implementation, and contractor teams to ensure schedule readiness and alignment.
- Validate contractor schedules, progress reports, and productivity submissions prior to integration into master project schedules.
- Track critical path activities, dependencies, constraints, and potential bottlenecks to support proactive issue resolution.
- Support change management activities by assessing schedule impacts resulting from scope changes, route modifications, design revisions, and implementation updates.
- Automate reporting processes and workflows to improve reporting efficiency, transparency, and accuracy.
- Conduct schedule and reporting audits to identify discrepancies, missing updates, and reporting inconsistencies.
- Prepare executive-level dashboards, summaries, presentations, and management reports.
- Participate in project coordination meetings and present schedule status, reporting insights, and performance updates.
- Maintain archives (electronic and hardcopy) of project schedules, reports, and planning documentation for reference and compliance purposes.
