Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manual Tester to join our dynamic team. The Manual Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our ERP products through comprehensive testing. The role involves developing and executing detailed test cases, identifying defects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning & Strategy:

• Analyze product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria provided by the Product Owner.

• Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases to validate system functionality.

• Identify test conditions, dependencies, and risks associated with ERP modules.

2. Manual Testing Execution:

• Conduct functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Execute test cases, document results, and report defects in a structured manner.

• Perform end-to-end testing for ERP workflows, ensuring business process alignment.

3. Defect Management:

• Log, track, and manage bugs using issue tracking systems like Jira or Trello.

• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and verify fixes.

• Prioritize defects based on severity and business impact.

4. Collaboration & Communication:

• Communicate effectively with Product Owners, stakeholders, developers, and the UI/UX team.

• Participate in sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and product demos.

• Provide regular updates on testing progress and highlight potential blockers.

5. Documentation & Reporting:

• Create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for test cases, test results, and user guides.

• Maintain detailed records of testing activities, including screenshots and logs.

• Provide test reports with insights into product quality and readiness.

6. Continuous Improvement:

• Identify areas for improving testing processes and workflows.

• Ensure testing aligns with business needs and user expectations.

• Proactively suggest improvements in the product based on user-centric testing.
