Summary:
A Procurement Officer is responsible for evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality services.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure compliance with the RERA regulations and the stipulations of the Law #6 of 2019;
- To award timely and cost-effective contracts to qualified/licensed contractors, supplier and service providers for the provision of goods, works and services in accordance with the principles and procedures established;
- To ensure proper mechanisms are in place to monitor and evaluate contractors, suppliers and service provider’s performance in the fulfillment of their contractual obligations and;
- To ensure appropriate actions are taken to promptly remedy any deficiencies observed in contract execution or the contract scope and terms & conditions.
- To ensure that KAIZEN obtains quality services for competitive prices in a timely fashion. Plays an integral role in ensuring that KAIZEN sticks to the budgets and operates profitably.
- To ensure compliance with relevant regulations, timelines, and health and safety standards.
- To prepare reports and compliance documentation.
- To Use the right tool to report, and update contracts.
- To follow and enforce the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
- To prepare tenders for AMCs service for KAIZEN properties.
- To conduct proposal comparison and analysis.
