Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Network & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize our cloud and on-premises infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Linux and Windows server administration, cloud hosting platforms, network management, virtualization technologies, database administration, backup and disaster recovery, and security best practices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliability of all infrastructure systems while providing technical support for business-critical applications and services.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Server Administration

• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure hosted on OVH Cloud and other cloud platforms.
• Deploy, configure, monitor, and optimize Linux and Windows servers.
• Perform server provisioning, upgrades, patch management, and security hardening.
• Monitor server performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Manage SSL certificates, DNS records, and web hosting environments.

Network Administration

• Monitor network performance and ensure maximum uptime.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, firewall, and security issues.
• Configure and maintain network equipment including switches, routers, and firewalls.

Cloudflare Management

Manage Cloudflare services including:

• DNS Management
• CDN Configuration
• Web Application Firewall (WAF)
• SSL/TLS Management
• DDoS Protection
• Performance Optimization
• Security Policies and Rules

Database Administration

• Perform basic database administration and optimization.
• Monitor and enhance MySQL/MariaDB database performance.
• Configure and maintain MySQL database replication.
• Execute database backup, restoration, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot database performance bottlenecks.

Backup & Disaster Recovery

• Perform daily backup monitoring and verification.
• Manage backup solutions and retention policies.
• Conduct periodic disaster recovery testing.
• Ensure successful backup completion and data integrity.
• Restore systems and databases when required.

Virtualization & Infrastructure

• Manage VMware virtual environments.
• Create and maintain virtual machines.
• Monitor resource utilization and capacity planning.
• Perform virtual machine migrations and upgrades.
• Maintain high availability and virtualization best practices.

Security & Compliance

• Implement server and network security best practices.
• Monitor security alerts and system logs.
• Manage user access controls and permissions.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation.
• Create and update network diagrams and system inventories.
• Prepare monthly infrastructure and backup reports.
• Document incident resolutions and system changes.
