1.    Control mechanical systems implementation in Syriatel facilities, by conducting field visits, and ensure meeting the approved design and the adopted engineering codes.
2.    Inspect mechanical systems performance after installation and commissioning, through conducting regular surveillance visits and suggest modifications accordingly.  
3.    Implement, commission, maintain the Addressable Fire Alarming System in Syriatel facilities, and respond immediately to any alarm.            
4.    Follow up corrective and preventive maintenance related to mechanical systems with contractors and concerned parties from Syriatel and ensure that maintenance is aligned to designs, user manuals and layouts.     
5.    Inspect Portable Fire Extinguishers in locations and suggest the needed actions based on their status to ensure their permanent readiness.       
6.    Inspect returned mechanical equipment when requested, follow up maintenance activities in FMU workshop, and provide recommendations to Mechanical Technicians.  
7.    Prepare and control log of records for repaired Mechanical equipment.  
8.    Review Mechanical equipment stock report prepared by Mechanical Technician, prepare the weekly items withdrawal list, and follow up the replenishment of stock with the concerned purchasing unit.
9.    Participate in preparing the terms and conditions of Mechanical works with Mechanical Design Engineer to be implemented by contractor.
10.    Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
11.    Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and teamwork.
12.    Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.
