We are seeking a skilled IT Technical Engineer to manage and support IT infrastructure, servers, network installations, and print management solutions within customer and internal environments. The role requires hands-on experience in server administration, system deployment, troubleshooting, and enterprise print solutions in multi-vendor environments. The ideal candidate will be technically strong, customer-oriented, and capable of handling installations, upgrades, and ongoing technical support independently or as part of a team.
Infrastructure & Server Management
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO).
- Manage virtualized environments (VMware / Hyper-V).
- Perform server health checks, backups, updates, and performance optimization.
- Support on-premise and hybrid IT infrastructures. Network & IT Installations
- Install and configure network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi).
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VLANs, and basic network security issues.
Network & IT Installations
- Install and configure network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi).
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VLANs, and basic network security issues.
- Deploy IT hardware including servers, workstations, printers, and peripherals.
- Document installations, configurations, and network diagrams.
Print Management & MPS Solutions
- Install, configure, and support print management solutions (e.g., MyQ, PaperCut, or similar).
- Integrate print solutions with Active Directory and network environments.
- Configure secure printing, user authentication (card readers, PIN, mobile), and reporting.
- Support multi-brand printers and MFPs (HP, Ricoh, Canon, Xerox, Lexmark, etc.).
- Troubleshoot printing, scanning, and device communication issues.
Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide L2/L3 technical support for infrastructure and print-related incidents.
- Analyze system logs and resolve complex technical issues.
- Support customers remotely and on-site when required.
- Escalate issues appropriately and coordinate with vendors or software support teams.
Security & Compliance
- Apply basic IT security best practices for servers, networks, and print environments.
- Support authentication, access control, and secure data handling.
- Assist in audits, compliance checks, and system hardening.
