The Ground Handling Airside Operations Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient, punctual, and cost-effective management of all ramp and airside operations (aircraft handling, baggage loading/unloading, aircraft cleaning, pushback, towing, de-icing, GPU/water/lavatory service, etc.) and the maintenance, repair and availability of the entire fleet of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) in full compliance with aviation safety standards, airline contracts and SLAs, and local regulations.
- Full leadership of 24/7 ramp operations (aircraft handling, pushback/towing, loading/unloading, aircraft cleaning, de-icing, GPU, ASU, water/lavatory service, etc.) for 30+ airline customers.
- Achieve OTP, zero safety incidents, baggage mishandling as per set KPIs, and all other airline SLA KPIs.
- Ensure strict compliance with IATA AHM/IGOM, ISAGO, GACA and airline GOMs.
- Daily safety management, audits, incident investigation and SMS reporting.
- Staff planning, recruitment, training and performance management of airside employees.
Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Maintenance & Technical Management
- Full managerial responsibility for the GSE maintenance department
- Develop and control the annual GSE maintenance budget, spare parts inventory and external repair contracts.
- Oversee GSE procurement projects, technical specifications, acceptance testing and commissioning of new equipment.
- Manage external workshops and warranty claims.
- Achieve GSE availability KPI during peak winter and summer seasons.
- Lead the technical team in fault diagnosis, major repairs and overhaul projects.
General Management
- Overall P&L responsibility for ramp operations and GSE combined budget.
- Act as the primary point of contact for airline audits, ISAGO audits and airport authority on both operations and technical matters.
- Drive continuous improvement, digitalization and Lean projects across both operations and maintenance.
Airside & Ramp Operations
