Scope of work:
The Flight Operations Documentation & Training Officer is responsible for managing the administration, control, and regulatory compliance of personnel-related documentation and training records. This role requires a high level of precision, disciplined approach of sensitive data documentation, and strong organizational skills to ensure that every record is accurate, traceable, and fully aligned with global aviation safety requirements.
Main duties & responsibilities;
- Oversee the issue, completion, and documentation of personnel files, ensuring all essential documentation and professional credentials are kept current and organized.
- Manage and update detailed training records for all operational staff, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and readiness for review.
- Systematically track the validity of professional qualifications and certifications to ensure continuous adherence to official standards and timely renewals.
- Liaise with management and staff to coordinate training schedules, renewal events, and the resolution of any documentation or training gaps.
- Ensure all records meet strict institutional standards for retention, traceability, and readiness for external audits and authorities.
- Assist in the development and revision of training programs package for short/long-term training plans for operation staff.
- Update documentation frameworks to ensure alignment with official regulatory requirements.
- Follow up with national and international authorities on documentation and training compliance processes & procedures.
