Job Summary:
We seek a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with expertise in transmission and distribution systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of electrical transmission and distribution infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical transmission and distribution system layouts, including substations and related components.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and system analyses for new projects and upgrades.
- Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for electrical system installations.
- Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and other engineering teams to ensure comprehensive system integration.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and protection systems.
- Perform short-circuit analysis, load flow studies, and coordination for system protection and stability.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot electrical issues during both operation and maintenance phases.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Assist in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling, providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with utility companies, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure successful project execution and coordination.
