Job Summary:

We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with a strong substation design, maintenance, and operation background. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the installation and maintenance of electrical substations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop substation layouts, protection systems, and control systems.
2. Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new substation projects.
3. Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and reports.
4. Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and other engineering teams for integrated substation solutions.
5. Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of substation equipment (transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, etc.).
6. Monitor substation performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
7. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
8. Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
9. Liaise with utility companies, contractors, and other stakeholders.
10. Perform risk assessments and implement corrective actions when necessary
