1. Educational work
• Conduct needs assessments, collect baseline and end-line data and other surveys according to the project design and in coordination with volunteers (if applicable).
• Support and monitor the implementation of the OOSC program, remedial classes program and teacher capacity building, recreational activities as well as support with any other project activity.
• Conduct field monitoring visit to the education projects in Rural Damascus, Dara’a, and Quneitra to monitor the implementation of the project activities and follow up on the progress of activities.
• Collect the documentation required by projects such as teachers timesheet and compensation, purchasing orders for the activities, etc, as per project activities.
• Coordinate with the education staff in the field (teachers – school headmaster and PSS councilor) to design the program schedule in the schools.
• Support and monitor the training courses for the teachers and volunteers of the educational staff, and make reports both in Arabic and English to submit to the Program Manager.
• Collect and analyze the educational support-related information to provide advice and technical support to the implementing partner (teachers, volunteers) for educational support projects implemented in the field.
• Conduct daily briefings to Program Manager and keeping track record on the implementation of project activities, challenges, and solutions.
• Review English & Arabic translation of materials required from Program Manager
• Communicate with the beneficiaries to collect their feedback and suggestion for improving the activities.


2. Reporting and office administration
• Submit daily and weekly report and ad hoc report (upon request) on the implementation of the educational process and achievement in the fields related to the project both in Arabic and English to the Program Manager.
• Collect and write success stories
• Take pictures of the project activities and submit the 5 best photos per week for each activity on a weekly basis.
