1.    Plan and design core network based on annual requirements and corporate strategy.
2.    Work in coordination with provider on preparing low level design and prepare the relevant bill of materials.
3.    Prepare core network design (dimensioning, signaling, connectivity, routing…).
4.    Provide integration plan for new physical and virtual network elements.
5.    Update network documentation upon network change.
6.    Update Syriatel numbering plan and inform the concerned entities.
7.    Monitor daily measurements and KPIs of the network, analyze network underperformance and prepare the corrective action plans and related reports.
8.    Provide the required network optimization in terms of capacity and performance regularly.
9.    Prepare work orders related to core network and submit them to Core Planning HOS for review.
10.    Study core network features & functionalities and prepare core network database parameters and settings.
11.    Provide the design of Core NFV (Network Function Virtualization) platform migrating legacy Telecom Function into NFV covering the following:
•    Break down Telecom Functions into basic service blocks.
•    Adapt each service block to the corresponding telecom SLA.
•    Define capacity dimensions of NFV infrastructure per service block.
•    Provide the Networking Matrix schema between basic block services on both horizontal and vertical levels.
•    Ensure that the set of APIs and mechanisms for the NFV platform interfacing with OSS system (Operation Support System) are available.
12.    Provide risk assessments with the resiliency design against any system failure in harmony with service level resiliency, suggest potential solutions, improvements for Core network planning and virtualization.
13.    Suggest potential technical solutions and improvement to core network and NFV.
14.    Study products, offers proposed by Marketing Department and provide Core Planning HOS with technical feasibility study.
15.    Conduct site visit to ensure the implemented plan and prepare related reports.
16.    Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
17.    Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and teamwork.
18.    Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.
