We are seeking an innovative and skilled Back-End Developer to take ownership of the server-side development and optimization of our platforms, including ERP systems, mobile apps, and web applications. This role requires proficiency in backend development, with expertise in Ruby on Rails or a willingness and ability to learn it. The ideal candidate will have experience leveraging tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI-powered development tools to boost productivity and streamline workflows.

As a Back-End Developer, you will play a critical role in creating scalable, efficient solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful products.

Key Responsibilities

Back-End Development

• Build, optimize, and maintain backend systems for our platforms using Ruby on Rails or similar technologies.
• Design and implement APIs (REST, GraphQL) to support seamless integration with front-end and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain scalable, reliable database architectures to handle large-scale data operations.
• Ensure clean, maintainable, and reusable code through adherence to best practices and coding standards.

AI Integration & Productivity Enhancement

• Utilize tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or other AI-powered solutions to automate repetitive tasks, debug efficiently, and enhance development speed.
• Explore and implement innovative AI-driven workflows to optimize backend development and team productivity.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI tools and their application to backend development.

System Optimization & Innovation

• Analyze and improve the performance of existing backend systems, addressing latency and scalability challenges.
• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute technology upgrades, adopting modern tools and frameworks.
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in system design, workflows, and architecture.

Collaboration & Problem-Solving

• Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and designers to align backend functionality with user and business requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective, scalable solutions.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in a remote team environment.
