Core Purpose of The Job: 

Provide the day-to-day operational support to Unix platform, Backup System, Storage systems and Monitoring tools.

Task Complexity:

*Technically support Unix Servers and all other Linux servers .*Build and administrate NIS Server, Linux Servers, Sun Servers and HPUX servers.*Implement new system upgrades and patches to existing systems.*Setup and maintain Unix security.*Monitor security and performance logs (servers, storage, etc.)*Provide diagnostic, problem solving and referral services for all related environment.*Prepare progress reporting and other statistical reports

.*Install new hardware in datacenters*Document procedures.

*Evaluate and recommend new server hardware.

*Analyze recurring problems and make recommendations for improvements to operational procedures.

*Offer technical support for Linux related issues for all other IT divisions when needed.*Manage IT Storage systems, and support all IT in all related issues

*Generate utilization and capacity planning reports and recommend system improvements.*Operate the backup system for all system including backup or restore oprations*Manage monitoring system for all IT systems, including the notifiocation groups
