Job Summary :

Maintain and administrate Oracle databases. Track the performance of all databases and implement all the solutions and modifications needed to improve system performance on oracle engine level and related administration levels (storage, OS). Maintain the KPI's of the unit. Assist the IT staff in their Projects studies that affect databases service quality.

 

Job Description:

*Restore data from recovery records if need.

*Clone the production environment on to the test environment.

*Consult the IT Projects that are related to the database unit.

*Maintain the maximum stability of the database.

*Implement the backup plan for the databases.

*Upgrade database systems.

*Administer User Management (Create ,Permissions, and Reporting)

*Implement the latest updates in the database that lead to enhance the production of the system.

*Implement the Documentation system, Passwords policy and installation methods.

*Automate recurring regular tasks using suitable ways and methods.

*Monitor database systems from administrative point of view.

*Implement backup, replication and redundancy solutions on database level.
