Maintain and administrate Oracle databases and keep tracks of the daily, weekly and monthly tasks. Track the performance of all databases and implement all the solutions and modifications needed to improve system performance. Maintain the KPI's of the unit. Assist the IT staff in their daily tasks that related to the databases in cases of any problems. Tuning the un-tuned query.

 

Tasks:

1. Support IT Staff in setting up their objects in the database.
2. Archive and transport any data from the database.
3. Restore data from the backup in case of recovery need.
4. Clone the production environment on to the test environment.
5. Consult the IT Projects that are related to the database unit.
6. Maintain the maximum stability of the database.
7. Provide monthly reports to the line manager.
8. Upgrade the systems/database.
9. Implement the backup plan for the databases.
